New resource for First and Business Class travelers ...

"PoshSeats.Net" is an independent review service aimed at the First and Biz class traveler …

It's primarily video-based and allows the user to upload video and/or photos to support their review. The reviews themselves are subjective, but are based on a guideline of several factors including the width and pitch of the seat, the comfort of the lounge, the amenities onboard the aircraft, the attentiveness of the crew and the ease of check-in. The idea is to scrutinize the Airlines (there are 209 IATA registered airlines in the database, and there are more to come) premium offerings and allow potential customers the chance to see some impartial reviews, to watch videos, and to see actual pictures before they fly.

A Fly-Fisher's dream come true ...

Sail the Chilean fjords in South America ...

... I have now partnered with one of the World's most experienced provider of outstanding and unusual trips for the serious fly-fisherperson. As only one example: explore the remote Pacific coast of Patagonia, fishing untouched rivers, hiking the temperate rainforest or relaxing on the deck of your expedition ship taking in magnificent scenery. Your adventure vacation cruise ship is a luxurious 150’ expedition ship designed for fly-fishing and natural history cruises, and it is outfitted with a helicopter, jetboats, Zodiacs, and sea kayaks to give you access to the most remote estuaries and backcountry. There is a crew of expert fly-fishing guides and naturalists for daily excursions, as well as a top chef, sommelier and masseuse to provide food and comfort when you return to the ship at the end of an exhilarating day. It’s a far cry from HMS Beagle in Darwin’s day, but it shares the same spirit of adventure.

For fly fishers, the ability of the ship to go to where the fish are, and seek out the best weather, is a tremendous advantage over fishing from a single lodge. For adventurous travelers, the ships small size and fleet of boats gives you access to places where other ships cannot venture. This is truly a unique experience for sophisticated travelers.

The ship: M.V. Atmosphere

The Atmosphere is a 150’ long luxury expedition yacht. With accommodations for up to 28 passengers and a crew of 32, the ship is large enough to provide a first class experience but small enough to get very close to the coastline guests have come to see. The ship’s maiden voyage was in 2006 and all of the equipment is state of the art and complies with all international safety standards. The ship is captained by a former Chilean Naval officer.

Living the good life.

Living the good life again ...

According to Travel Week Magazine' recent Luxury Supplement (dated August 12, 2010) "Luxury travel is on the rise".

They say that "Last year travellers were focused on finding affordable ways to live the good life. This year luxury travel has bounced back in a big way, with numbers more than doubling since 2009".

They go on to say that according to a survey by Vacations.com, "74% of luxury- focused member travel agents reported an average increase in sales, with 23% reporting growth of up to 200%..." over the same period a year ago.

Europe was the most favoured destination by a big margin (92%), with Asia and Hawaii second and third most popular (30 and 18% respectively).

There are - in addition - several luxury cruise providers who are making it much easier for travellers to experience the very best the travel industry has to offer. Cunard, Crystal and Oceania are three such cruise lines that are currently offering fantastic deals.

If there is interest in exploring any one of of these world's most luxurious ships. Give me a shout or explore on your own on my web site at : www.cruiseshipcenters.com/billmeldrum.
